This page is designed to give our customers additional transparency and visibility. While other companies try to keep their pricing policies a mystery, we believe in empowering our customers through fostering trust. Below, you’ll find an explanation for every service charge, every fee, and every exception to the rule. Not to mention some goodies we’ve thrown in for free.
Service Call: The service call includes any and all trips to your location, any and all return visits if necessary, and the time it takes to diagnose the problem. Our policy also includes transparent and flat-rate pricing, only after a thorough diagnosis has been performed, and before you ever pay a penny.
Job Rate: The job rate is separate from the service call, and includes all parts and labor. To help calculate a fair job rate we use the MASPG, the “Blue Book” of the appliance repair industry.
2 For The Price of One: If we’re already at your house, we might as well make it worth your time. Within the same service call, we’ll diagnose your original appliance and up to 1 additional appliances FREE of charge with repair.
Free Reschedule For Up To 30 Days: It rarely happens, but if the problem doesn’t present itself during our first visit, have no fear! We will return at no additional charge to recheck it for up to 30 days. Give us a call and we’ll reschedule your appointment.
Accepted Forms of Payment: We gladly accept cash, check, MasterCard, Visa, Discover, and American Express. All services are performed on a C.O.D. basis.
Invalid Quote: In the rare event a technician gives a quote that cannot be fulfilled, we’ll do our best to keep your costs as affordable as possible. Should the cost exceed a reasonable amount, you’ll have the option to refund your deposit. (This can happen for several reasons including; the original part is no longer available, the part or labor price unknowingly changes, or the repair requires additional updated assemblies.)
When Ordering Parts: Although we keep our trucks fully stocked with most comon repair parts, it is sometimes necessary to order special parts. If your appliance does require a special order, your parts will be ordered the same day, while shipping usually takes between 3 and 14 working days. (Your job quote includes standard shipping, however, should you request a rush order, we can arrange it at an additional cost.)
Required Deposits: Especially with special order parts, manufacturer policies require, we cannot stop or cancel an order once it’s been placed. As such, we require a deposit equal to 50% of the repair cost.
Refund Policy: If your repair cannot be completed due to unforeseen changes in parts availability or a changed diagnosis, you are eligible for a full refund of your deposit, minus your service call. (Please allow up to 10 working days for your refund to process.)
Discounts and Coupons: In addition to our online monthly specials, Seniors, Active Military, Police and Firefighters get a 10% discount toward all repairs. Discounts and coupons are valid during normal working hours and must be presented during time of diagnosis. Coupons cannot be combined with other offers and do not apply toward service call charges.
When Warranty Is Void: For insurance purposes, We cannot, under any circumstance install any part supplied by the customer.
Our Normal Rates: At the time of this writing, our regular service call is $59.95, during normal hours. If you require 24/7 Emergency Service, you will be billed at a higher rate. Please call our office for more details.
